Rockmybaby™ likes to keep you all informed about what is happening in your local area.

Please let us know if you have any news to add to this section, ie children's event, family market day - we would love to add this below and inform our clients/nannies/babysitters on what's going on.

The Auckland Rockmybaby team will now be working together with Total Sport to provide crèche facilities at their upcoming Xterra off-road series running through the winter months. Mums and Dads get a chance to do some pretty exciting events knowing that their little ones are safely being cared for! www.totalsports.co.nz.

All of the staff here at Rockmybaby™ have obviously been watching the events in Christchurch unfold this last week and have been thinking of little else. I do hope that you and your family and friends are safe and well. In order to help with the fundraising effort, I have decided to donate all of the booking fees that come through for babysitting bookings this week in Auckland to the Red Cross Christchurch Earthquake appeal. So if you do have an event coming up this week, or some point in the next couple of months and you need a babysitter then you can rest assured that the booking fee will be going to a great cause. .

Auckland Office - Oct 10

I am very excited to announce that I will be exhibiting at the upcoming Parent & Child show on Friday 29^th, Saturday 30^th and Sunday 31^st October at the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane.  If you are coming along, do pop in and say “hello”, I’m on stand M16 and it would be lovely to meet you.  There will be some great giveaways (free babysitting bookings) and the chance to win 8 hours free babysitting so you can enjoy a couple of nights out on us!

 

As a way of saying thank you for families that make bookings with us, I have decided to give away 2 free tickets (which you can use on any day) to one family.  All you need to do to qualify is make a babysitting booking with us between Monday 4^th October and Sunday 24^th October to go into the draw.  The booking can be for any date, but just needs to be made within that timeframe.

 We are pleased to announce that Rockmybaby has secured a stand at the upcoming Parent & Child Show in October at the Showgrounds in Greenlane.  The Auckland Director, Rachael will be there on all three days so do pop along for a chat.  We will also be running some great competitions, including the chance to win a free year’s subscription to our babysitting service so its worth your while to visit!

Rockmybaby™ Auckland is pleased to be working with Westfield Glenfield to help mums to relax and enjoy some free coffee and “me time” courtesy of Westfield as part of their “Mummy Mornings”.  The events run on the first Wednesday of each month and Rockmybaby™ provides skilled nannies to care for the children for a few hours while mums can relax nearby, safe in the knowledge that their children are being well cared for and entertained.

Rachael recently attended the Hyatt Wedding Expo in Auckland’s CBD and was very excited to talk to numerous brides-to-be about the childcare arrangements for their wedding.  The event highlighted the range of options that couples want available, whether it is nannies at the wedding, at guests homes, or in hotels or accommodation nearby.
